I like where this image is going. The first thing that comes to mind is, incomplete.

I like the color choices for the underwater chill. I like the floating pieces around the torso but I get the feeling that this would have much more violence if it was a bubble of stone opening up. Also on that note, the water should have some form debris floating in the scene. It does not matter what kind of water but there is always something floating since it is moving and eroding the surroundings. It would also add to the depth of the piece.

I like the effort and the idea. I think it just needs a bit more detail to make it pop.
